After graduating from Cal State Fullerton, Trey served in the United States Air Force. That did little to advance his professional career but it was an experience he enjoyed and time well spent. The first post-college position he held was as a photographer/associate producer for 20/20 Productions – makers of educational film strips and science films. He next spent several years in the advertising departments of Builder’s Emporium and Foster’s Freeze followed by a stint with Market Basket. Leaving retail behind, he went to work at Environmental Communications as art director. This position led to his being hired as communications director for Systemix, a Xerox company. In the early 1980s Johnson/Brown Communications was formed and for the past 35 years has served the Orange County business community.
Recently, Johnson/Brown Communications launched an online support service consisting of creative directories serving Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and the Inland Empire.
